How to backup my files using FTP?

Posted December 1, 2015

Assuming that you know how to upload files using Filezilla, backing up your files from your web hosting account to your local computer is very easy.

1. At your left panel, create a directory in your local computer where you wish to store your backups. The easiest way is to locate your Desktop, then right click and press "Create directory and enter it".

2. At the right panel, go to public_html and select all your files. Right click on them and select Download.

3. The transfer progress is shown at the bottom panel. You're done!
